Barry founded BMB Architecture, PLLC in 2002.


Barry has been practicing Architecture since 1989 and has been licensed in the state of New York since 1998.  He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and American MENSA.

Barry graduated Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo School of Architecture (NYS) with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Architecture.

Barry began his career working on a diverse range of large-scale projects throughout New York City. These projects included Postmodern and Deconstructivist commercial and medical buildings as well as residential projects.  Barry later joined a Design-Build Architectural firm in Manhattan where he worked on both design and construction of high-end apartments, commercial, and retail spaces.

In 2002, Barry started his own Architectural design firm, Barry M. Bashker, R.A. in Great Neck which he later incorporated as BMB Architecture, PLLC.  He specializes in large, high-end homes in the larger Great Neck North Shore of Long Island and in the Southampton East End of Long Island.
